Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a CNC Prep Tech in Arlington, TN to prepare machines, set up tooling, and document production data. You will read blueprints, load materials, and preset tools to ensure accurate, efficient runs. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with a CNC certificate or active enrollment. Overtime may be needed; a robust benefits package is typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining Certificate or active enrollment in an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the CNC machine for operation, including area cleanup, coolant checks, and overall readiness.
• Perform tool presetting through the Zoller so the Machinist does not have to touch off tools.
• Address issues during setup and ensure enough tools are set for the job; perform part inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of setup procedures and production data (QI sheets).
• Load and secure materials on fixtures according to safety and machining requirements.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories based on part and operation.
• Complete basic production paperwork and labeling accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate issues with parts or equipment to machinist or supervisor.
