Zusammenfassung

Precera Medical in Minnesota seeks a skilled machinist to plan and verify materials, set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders and boring machines to produce high quality parts. You will interpret complex blueprints, follow manufacturing processes, and inspect parts for conformance using gauges and microscopes.

Strong teamwork and communicating skills are essential. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area following 5S principles and completing required job documentation.

Qualifikationen

• A related machine trades certificate/diploma and one-year relevant experience, OR, two years relevant experience.
• Intermediate ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience with machine tooling and measuring tools.
• Basic experience programming CNC machines.
• Experience using material handling equipment, including hoists.
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.

Aufgaben

• Plan and verify materials to be used and operations to be performed on each job.
• Operate all required machines and equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders and boring machines.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings and follow manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications using gauges and microscopes.
• Use material handling equipment to move materials and parts throughout the shop.
• Complete required documentation for all jobs responsible for.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment per 5S principles.
• Other duties as assigned.
