Wabtec Corporation seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for the night shift in South Carolina. The role involves setting up and operating multiple CNC machines in a low-volume, high-mix environment, ensuring strict adherence to safety, ISO/TS, IRIS, AAR, and CMMI standards.

Requirements include 5+ years CNC experience, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints and edit programs. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years CNC experience required.
• Knowledge of basic shop math including trigonometry and Pythagorean theorem.
• Ability to interpret and edit CNC programs.
• Proficiency with GD&T and inspection identifiers.
• Familiarity with Rigging, crane operation, and hoist inspection.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Mansioni

• Set up machine tools within standard route times.
• Operate multiple machines concurrently.
• Join production with 90%+ target efficiency.
• Navigate FANUC controls and wear/geometry pages.
• Troubleshoot and return tools to production quickly.
• Use Renishaw probing and basic CMM functions.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and enter SPC data.
• Maintain 5S in the work cell and support continuous improvement.
