Job summary

Wabtec seeks an experienced CNC Machinist in Duncan, SC to setup and operate multiple CNC machines in a low-volume, high-mix environment. You will interpret complex blueprints, use Renishaw probing, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

The role requires at least 5 years CNC experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong math and GD&T skills. Benefits include day-one coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tool prints.
• Basic shop math including trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine tools and run multiple CNC machines.
• Ensure production meets ISO/TS/IRIS/AAR/CMMI standards.
• Inspect parts against blueprints and GD&T.
• Enter SPC data and document results.
• Maintain 5S in the work cell.
