• Reliability to work 3rd shift on a consistent schedule.
• Basic math and the ability to learn or use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Dependable attendance and time management.
• Self-directed work style suitable for overnight production.
• Stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and secure raw stock and components into CNC equipment following prints and work instructions.
• Unload finished pieces, clear chips, and ready machines for the next cycle.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to verify materials, dimensions, and orientation.
• Start and observe machine cycles after proper setup.
• Verify part positioning and workholding; monitor alarms and quality issues.
• Perform visual checks and measure with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Quarantine suspect product and separate nonconforming parts.
• Keep machines fed with material to maintain throughput.
• Record production data and part counts accurately.
• Follow safety practices: PPE, guarding, FOD control, and dust protocols.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
