Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, OH seeks a dedicated Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA. The role focuses on nighttime ADL assist, safety, and comfort for residents in a team-driven, resident-centered setting.

Under supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will document care, monitor residents, and help maintain a calm, homelike night environment while upholding infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA or STNA certification in Ohio.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team and contribute to a positive night shift culture.
• Physical ability for a fast-paced care setting (lifting, turning, standing, walking).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Attention to detail and understanding of resident care policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nighttime care including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and safe repositioning.
• Assist residents with evening snacks, hydration, and meal support during the night shift.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe for a calm nighttime environment.
• Respond quickly to call lights and support residents with toileting, comfort care, and safety needs.
• Follow all facility policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
