Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA for dayshift. You will work under licensed staff to provide quality resident care and support a respectful, homelike environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA or STNA certification for the state of Ohio
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Physical strength and endurance for a fast-paced care setting
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Attention to detail and an understanding of patient care policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning
• Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met throughout each shift
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and daily log updates
• Keep rooms clean, organized, and safe, while promoting a homelike environment
• Support residents' rights by treating all individuals with kindness, dignity, and respect
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Nursing or supervisory staff
