Job summary

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA to provide hands-on care and safety while residents sleep. You will assist with ADLs, monitor wellbeing, and report changes to the nursing staff.

This full-time role requires an active Ohio CNA/STNA license, strong communication, teamwork, and physical stamina for nightly duties. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio CNA or STNA license.
• Good communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to work nights and lift/move residents.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nighttime care including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and safe repositioning.
• Assist residents with evening snacks, hydration, and any needed meal support during the Night Shift CNA/STNA schedule.
• Observe residents throughout the night and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided by the Night Shift CNA/STNA.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe to support a calm, homelike nighttime environment.
• Respond quickly to call lights and support residents with toileting, comfort care, and safety needs.
• Follow all facility policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
