Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts in a 97-bed skilled nursing facility. You will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under supervision of an RN.

This full-time role includes night shift differentials and access to earnings daily. The position requires CNA certification with state boards, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 10:00 pm–6:30 am with

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification required by the State Board of Nursing, or in process of obtaining within four months.
• Maintains continuing education credits annually.
• Any applicable state driver requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, vital signs, and care plans under RN supervision.
• Support meals, dining experience, and documentation of resident interactions.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and participate in wellness activities.
