Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care under RN supervision, while contributing to a compassionate Christian care environment.

The role supports night shifts on a full-time schedule, with a strong emphasis on infection control, safety, and positive dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or enrolled in a training program to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education per year.
• For applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry if required.
• May classify as Sanford Category II Driver if duties require driving and valid license is held.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene and mobility; monitor and record vital signs.
• Support meals, feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs; assist with range of motion and positioning.
• Document resident interactions and changes in condition for care planning.
