Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and provided by the facility.
• GED or high school diploma preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Annual continuing education credits requirement (12 hours).

• May require Sanford driving policy compliance and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, meals.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, walking, ROM exercises.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
