Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include transferring residents, assisting with meals, documenting care, and upholding infection control policies. CNA certification is required or in progress; high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and daily activities.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN/charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Support dining and nutritional needs, including meals and hydration.
• Document resident interactions and participate in infection prevention policies.
