Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide patient-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the nursing team under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, recording vital signs, and participating in wellness programs. A CNA certification is required, and ongoing education credits are expected; the role offers full-time

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process within four months of employment.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours continuing education required.
• When applicable, registered with UAP Registry.
• Possession of valid driver's license if Sanford Driving Policy applies.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support meal service and anticipate residents' dining needs.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs and be involved in committees as needed.
