Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Under the supervision of an RN, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support psychosocial needs.

The role requires a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to infection control policies. A sign-on bonus is offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and active or within four months of date of hire.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Continuing education: at least 12 hours annually and certs as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Support meals, assist with dining, and promote a positive dining experience.
• Document care interactions and report changes to RN.
