Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant for the Medical Unit. This full-time night position (3 12-hour shifts, 6:00pm-6:30am) supports nursing teams across a 64-bed unit with patient care, documentation, and routine tasks.

Requires BLS and CNA in state of practice; experience in medical clerical work and strong communication are preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, human relations, and communication skills; basic medical terminology and keyboarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and nutrition to support patient care.
• Collect vital signs, specimens, and input/output data; document in medical records.
• Recognize changes in patient status and communicate with the care team.
• Perform delegated procedures and unit support tasks under supervision; assist with clerical duties and charting.
