UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is hiring a Clinical Associate (CNA) for the MedSurg/Telemetry unit. This 100% onsite role supports patient care, meals, and comfort needs, with night shifts and a 0.9 FTE schedule in a busy acute care setting.

Under supervision, the CNA provides essential care, patient and family advocacy, and follows the unit care plan while maintaining infection control and patient safety standards. The role requires an active CNA license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Terminology Course.
• Past or current acute care hospital experience.

Responsabilités

• Promotes the values and mission of Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
• Delivers direct patient care and assists with meals and comfort measures.
• Performs hourly rounds and supports plan of care under supervision.
• Assists with admissions: room setup, measurements, and care items.
• Follows infection control policies and unit-specific Scope of Care.
