Job summary

UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate (CNA) for the MedSurg/Oncology unit. The role involves direct patient care, assisting with meals, and comfort measures, with a 100% onsite requirement in the greater Chicagoland area.

Under supervision, you will perform assigned tasks, support growth of skills in acute care, and participate in admissions setup and patient rounds as part of a collaborative nursing team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Terminology Course.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the values and mission of Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
• Performs hourly rounds on patients and meets needs as appropriate.
• Provides comfort measures and assistance to patient and family.
• Assists with admissions by setting up patient rooms and basic measurements.
