Community First Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends/holidays. You will support nursing staff by delivering direct patient care, performing routine procedures, and helping with admissions, transfers, and safety.
The role requires CNA certification and BLS/CPR, plus preferred EPIC EMR experience. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential in this setting with a focus on patient
Qualificações
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- EMR/EPIC experience preferred.
- One RN program clinical semester accepted in place of CNA.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Responsabilidades
- Provides direct patient care as assigned by the registered nurse.
- Performs routine procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, heights, weights, and more.
- Assists with patients’ activity and maintaining a safe environment.
- Observes patients and reports any changes in condition to the RN.
- Maintains patient room cleanliness and comfort.
- Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
- Replenishes patient supplies as needed.
- Identifies patient education needs and informs the RN.
