Sanford Health in Howard Lake, MN, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a 32-bed skilled nursing facility. The role operates night shifts (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) with eight shifts per two-week period, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of hire.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes as needed.
• Communicate resident condition changes to the charge nurse.
• Support housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
