Job summary

Sanford Health in Minnesota is hiring a Full Time Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts 10:00pm - 6:30am. The role requires CNA certification, with training provided by the facility.

Night differential available, weekends/holidays required, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance are offered. The NA delivers resident-centered care in long-term care, supports basic daily living activities, and collaborates with RNs and nursing staff while following care plans and infection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months of start date.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• Annual continuing education requirements (12 hours) must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assists with basic health care needs and daily living activities.
• Transferring, repositioning, and assisting residents with walking.
• Supports dining by assisting with meals and hydration.
• Aids providers and nursing staff and documents care interactions.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the charge nurse.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services to support resident hygiene.
• Encourages participation in wellness and recreational activities.
