Banner Gateway Medical Center is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our Medical Surgical Float team in Gilbert, AZ. This full-time night position involves floating to multiple units to provide nursing support and patient care.

We offer an $3,000 sign-on bonus for licensed CNA or LNA, an 18% night differential, and a weekend differential where applicable. Join Banner Health for growth and magnet-recognized nursing excellence.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA/LNA license in state of practice.
• 1 year hospital, clinic, or medical office experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility, including hygiene and feeding.
• Record vital signs and input/output data as directed.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Perform basic procedures and use equipment under supervision.
• Provide receptionist/clerical support to maintain efficient unit flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR.
• Manage supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Transport patients and assist with admissions/discharges as required.
• Support OR turnover and post-operative transport as assigned.
• Interacts professionally with staff, patients, and families.
