Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Med/Surg Float-Hosp team on the Night shift. You’ll float across facility teams, support nursing care, and contribute to patient comfort under supervision.

Shifts include 6pm–6:30am with rotating weekends and holidays; full-time and part-time options available. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, specimen collection, documenting in EMR, and communicating patient status to the care team.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice; special Tucson requirement may apply for transfers.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health.
• Collect specimens and data, monitor vital signs, and document in EMR.
• Communicate patient status changes to licensed staff for continuity of care.
• Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by licensed professionals.
• Support department operations, including receptionist/clerical duties.
• Maintain patient records and order supplies as needed.
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover as applicable.
• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and families.
