Banner Health Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks Certified Patient Care Assistants for the 48-bed Observation Unit, with opportunities to float to Medical Surgical, PCU, ICU and ED as needed.

This full-time night-shift role focuses on providing routine patient care, collecting data, and supporting the unit under licensed supervision. A self-scheduling tool is available; weekend and holiday rotations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA in state of practice required.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred, hospital setting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort.
• Collect vital signs and data, document in medical records.
• Report changes in patient status to a licensed professional.
• Assist with unit operations and supplies as needed.
• Support transportation of specimens and patients when required.
• Maintain complete patient records and charts.
