Job summary

Avera Brady Health and Rehab in Mitchell, SD is seeking a part-time Nurse Assistant in training to become CNA. You will work the night shift (6:00pm–6:30am), provide direct resident care, and learn to perform essential nursing tasks under supervision.

The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and shift differentials. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate care and advancing health forward for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensing within 120 days.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• In training to become Nurse Assistant certified and/or Medication Aide certified.
• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transfers.
• Records vital signs and documents patient information accurately.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and restocks supplies.
• Provides emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families.
