Job summary

Avera Majestic Bluffs Hospice is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training for a night shift. The role involves direct patient care as you move toward CNA certification, with a starting pay range of $19.75 to $27.50 per hour and structured training to meet licensure requirements.

Hours are 6pm-6:30am, every 3rd weekend/holiday, 72 hours every two weeks. A sign-on bonus may be available, with a commitment to compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensure required within 120 days.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• In training to become Nurse Assistant certified and/or Medication Aide certified.
• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and hygiene.
• Performs vital signs and documents findings.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and participates in caring for residents.
