Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance during overnight shifts at the Robbinsdale Specialty Care Community. You will work under RN supervision to support long-term and post-acute care residents.

Requires a valid CNA certification and ability to obtain state certification if in progress. Night shifts include differential pay and access to earnings daily where offered; comprehensive benefits apply based on status.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required by the State Board or in process of obtaining certification.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Yearly continuing education and department competency testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper technique.
• Document resident interactions and vital signs; communicate changes to charge nurse.
