Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and support a compassionate, safe environment aligned with facility policies.

This role is part of our night-shift team (11pm–7am) with opportunities to contribute to quality of life initiatives. Candidates must hold an active CNA certification and possess strong communication and teamwork skills to serve residents

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Complete shifts with attention to resident rights and care environment.
