Job summary

Signature HealthCARE seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our nursing team. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, support daily living activities, and help maintain a compassionate environment in a 121-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification from the state of operation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible, approachable, and adaptable to change.
• Work independently with integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linens and maintain housekeeping in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents as needed.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist residents as needed.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
