Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for PT evenings (3pm–11pm) in Chapel Hill, NC. CNAs provide daily living support, monitor residents, and assist with activities of daily living under the care plan.

You will contribute to a compassionate, resident-centered environment, adhere to safety standards, and participate in staff training. This role covers every other weekend and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
