Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Chapel Hill is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to perform direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with ADLs, maintain a comfortable environment, and support resident rights while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires an active Nursing Assistant certification, strong communication, and teamwork. Evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with every other weekend, salary commensurate with experience and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Current active Nursing Assistant certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
