Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification required by the state of operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a nursing team under supervision.
• Customer service oriented with ability to handle pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under licensed supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) per plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain room supplies.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food intake.
• Support resident rights and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff and others.
