Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Part-Time night shift (10:45pm - 7:15am) at Bethesda Dilworth. The role provides direct patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignified assistance while documenting essential information for the care team.

Responsibilities include vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and timely reporting to the Charge Nurse. The position offers competitive pay and benefits for regular status employees seeking growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; lift up to 200+ lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety per guidelines.
• Documents appropriately into patient records and records vitals and measurements.
• Performs admissions tasks: height/weight, patient orientation, arm band, admission kit.
• Responds to call lights promptly and completes rounds and transfers as directed.
• Turns/repositions patients every 2 hours; supports lifting and transfers with proper technique.
• Notes I & O and reports to Charge Nurse; maintains supplies and participates in education.
