Bethesda Dilworth is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide patient care across hygiene, nutrition, ambulation and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse. You will document in patient records and assist with admissions, vital Signs, and rounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active CNA certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety.
• Documents appropriately into patient records per guidelines.
• On admission, completes personal belongings sheet, records height, weight and vital signs.
• Orientates new resident to facility and unit, ensures arm band and admission kit.
• Takes rounds, responds to call lights, and assists with resident needs.
• Applies appro­priate slings, splints, braces and other devices per orders.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and reports needs.
• Gives report at shift end and communicates pertinent information to next shift.
