Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift (6:45pm - 7:15am) at Bethesda Dilworth. The role requires clinical expertise in long-term care, accurate documentation, and effective communication with residents, families, and IDT members.

You will assess health status, develop care plans, administer medications, and respond calmly to crises while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse.
• Current RN license in the state you will be working.
• CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 40+ lbs, and transfer patients.
• Ability to document electronically and on paper.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses residents' health status on admission and ongoing.
• Develops care plans with an interdisciplinary team and updates as needs change.
• Documents the care plan and interventions accurately and timely.
• Administers medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely and promptly.
• Communicates changes to physicians and families using SBARR.
• Assists with call lights and resident care (ADLs) as needed.
