Job summary

Montcare Bethesda is seeking a compassionate and skilled GNA to join our team at the Bethesda, Maryland location for a night shift. As a GNA, you will provide direct patient care, assist with transfers, and support the nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care while maintaining patient privacy.

You will participate in ongoing education and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet regulatory requirements and stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; GNA program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients, as needed.
• Monitor and report patient conditions to nursing staff and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
