Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Memory Care on a full-time night shift from 10:45pm to 7:15am. You'll provide essential patient care, assist with daily activities, and document care in resident records.

The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and high-quality care within a collaborative team. Qualified candidates hold an active CNA certificate, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and ideally prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required in the state of work.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage time and organize daily schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by Charge Nurse.
• Document patient information accurately in the chart and during shift changes.
• Perform admissions tasks, vitals, height/weight, and orientation for new residents.
• Turn/reposition residents every two hours and assist with transfers and activities of daily living.
• Monitor intake/output and report discrepancies to nursing staff.
