Job summary

Bethesda Dilworth is seeking a part-time CNA to provide patient care and support across hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety under the Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include accurate charting, intake/outtake, vital signs, and resident orientation, with shifts like 6:45am–3:15pm totaling 64hrs per period.

Qualified candidates have an active CNA license in the state, CPR certification, and strong communication and mobility handling skills.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
• Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care related support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by Charge Nurse.
• Document appropriate patient data into charting per guidelines.
• Orientates new resident to the facility and unit and ensures identification and admission kit.
• Takes vital signs, weight, intake/output, and reports to Charge Nurse.
• Responds promptly to call lights and patient needs; completes rounds as assigned.
• Assists with equipment and patient positioning as ordered by physicians or therapists.
