Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Methodist Hospital in Omaha. The role supports patient hygiene, daily living activities, and comfort while monitoring vital signs and ensuring safety. Shifts are 24 or 36 hours per week, including nights, with incentives and tuition assistance potential.

The CNA will document care in Cerner, maintain clean patient spaces, and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs and plans of care.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience required.
• Will consider high school students 16 years or older who have completed the above requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide age-appropriate care and support comfort for patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living (ADL).
• Provide transportation and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Maintain clean treatment spaces and ensure patient safety.
• Document all data accurately in Cerner and/or worksheets.
• Attend to patient amenities and keep rooms neat and uncluttered.
• Communicate patient needs to nursing staff promptly.
