Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support patient care on evening shifts. You will assist with personal care, ADLs, transportation, vital signs and room preparation, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include efficient charting, coordination with the nursing team, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. 24 or 36 hours weekly, night hours, with shift differentials and incentives where available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as Nursing Assistant preferred.
• 75-hour NA training or 6 months NA experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred at hiring and required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Provide comfort, transportation and monitoring of vital signs.
• Clean and prepare treatment spaces ensuring patient safety.
• Document care and coordinate with nursing staff.
