Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 24 or 36 hours per week, with shifts 6:45pm–7:15am at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. The role entails supporting hygiene, daily living needs, and safe patient transport while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The CNA will perform delegated clinical tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs, document accurately in Cerner, and help maintain a sanitary, organized care environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience required.
• Will consider high school students 16 years or older who have completed the above requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide age-specific patient care and comfort.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal relations with patients and staff; respond promptly to needs.
• Assist with ADL, repositioning, ambulation, and vital signs as delegated.
• Document data accurately in Cerner and worksheets.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas and assist with room turnover.
• Answer call lights promptly and relay requests to the team.
