Nebraska Methodist Health System is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. This role supports patients with hygiene, daily living needs, and comfort, while assisting with transport and vital signs under supervision.

Schedule options include 24 or 36 hours per week, with two or three 12-hour shifts and weekday availability. The position requires adherence to patient plans, strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate with staff and patients.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as Nursing Assistant preferred.
• 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides age-appropriate care to ensure comfort and understanding of treatment.
• Gives individualized customer service/patient care.
• Completes age-specific competency assessment.
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal relations with patients, co-workers, physicians, and guests to ensure effective communications.
• Responds to patient needs promptly and courteously.
• Documents all data collected accurately and timely in Cerner and/or worksheets.
