Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts in a long-term care setting. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help with transfers and mobility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the state board, or in process of obtaining certification.
• CNA training and certification provided by the facility.
• At least 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Certified/registered with the UAP Registry where applicable.
• Possible Sanford Category II Driver duties with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Provide resident-centered care under supervision of an RN.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility as appropriate.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support hygiene, dining, and recreation activities; participate in care planning as needed.
