Job summary

Sanford Health in Vermillion, SD, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care during the evening shift. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team under the supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, basic clinical tasks, and documenting care interactions. A CNA certification and state-wide eligibility are required, with additional training provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, vital signs, meals, and activities; support infection control.
