Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide to support daily patient care on 5N Surgical Telemetry. The role includes assisting with ADLs, hygiene, vital signs, and patient transport, with weekend night shifts (7p-7a) and a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include basic clerical tasks, maintaining clean rooms, and reporting changes in patient condition. Requires HS diploma, Nurse Aide I/II registry, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with State Board as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight.
• Feeds and ambulates patients per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Instructs patients and families on safety on unit.
• Performs clerical tasks like answering phones and data entry.
• Maintains inventory of stock items.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks as per state guidance.
• May perform ECGs and routine venipuncture.
