Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I for the Pineville, 2 East unit in Charlotte, NC, to work part time on the night shift.

You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support hygiene, document care, and help with basic clerical tasks while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, current Nurse Aide I listing, BLS, and offers benefits with 24 hours per week; pay ranges from $19.80 to $29.70 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for new hires.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS certification required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulate patients/residents according to procedures.
• Maintains patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
• Orients patients/families to unit and safety procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records.
