Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Nursing Assistant I for 7 North Med Surg at High Point Medical Center. You will work 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) with every 3rd weekend rotation, supporting licensed nurses and providing compassionate patient care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I registration, and BLS certification. 36 hours/week; pay range $19.80–$29.70 per hour; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as minimum education requirement.
• Nurse Aide I registration with the state is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' condition and report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Obtain and document vital signs, heights, weights, and intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Support treatments and delegated nursing tasks as directed.
• Provide one-on-one observation and ensure patient safety.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and mobility.
