Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring Nursing Assistant I for 34800 High Point Medical Center - Nursing: 6 North Ortho Urology. The role is full-time with a 30-hour work week and rotating shifts including 7pm–7am, with weekend rotation.

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I training and registry, and BLS certification. Compensation aligns with pay range and includes opportunities for bonuses per qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Aide I training program/competency evaluation.
• Nurse Aide I Registry registration is required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' condition and promptly report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Obtain and document vital signs, heights, weights, intake/output, and specimens.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, positioning, mobility.
• Support nursing tasks such as glucose monitoring and catheter care as directed.
• Provide one-on-one patient observation and ensure safety at all times.
• Collaborate with nurses during shift changes and unit operations.
