Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant I in High Point, NC. The position involves 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7pm–7am) with every third weekend rotation, supporting licensed nurses and providing basic patient care.

Eligible for benefits, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered service and safety. Requires HS Diploma or GED, approved Nurse Aide I training, AHA BLS, and registry enrollment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of state Board of Nursing Aide I approved program.
• Nurse Aide I Registry registration required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs, heights, weights, input/output, specimens.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Support treatments and delegated nursing tasks as directed.
• Provide one-on-one observation and ensure patient safety.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and mobility.
