Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for Inpatient Med/Surg East to assure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources. You will lead staff, coordinate patient flow and bed management, and partner with physicians and admin to improve processes.

Role includes direct and indirect care and taking on managerial duties as delegated. You must have an accredited nursing degree, Missouri RN license, 2–3 years of direct patient care, and active BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or eligible.
• Minimum 2–3 years of direct patient care.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy Mission, Values and Service Standards.
