Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for the Inpatient Med/Surg East to oversee nursing staff, patient flow, bed management and care delivery in a 40-hour per week inpatient setting.

The role requires an active Missouri RN license, 2–3 years of direct patient care experience, and BLS certification. This supervisor position emphasizes servant leadership, mentorship, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards while aligning with the mission and values of Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
